In 1779, Samuel sold his Medfield place and removed to Hubbardston.
Samuel Morse died in Hubbardston on April 20,, 1787, aged 68 years, 7 month, 21 days. His widow Catherine lived on in Hubbardston until Jan. 17, 1813, dying in her 77th year.[4]
