Biography
Ada Linda Moses was born 21 September 1885. She was the daughter of Joseph Moses and Elizabeth O'Hara. She passed away in 1944.
Occupation: She was a professional opera singer, a contralto, known as Linda O'Hara.
Sydney Mail and New South Wales Advertiser, Wednesday 11 February 1903, page 347:
- MISS LINDA O'HARA
- A young Sydney girl who is said to possess a phenomenal voice, and whom Madame Melba has strongly recommended to Madame Marchesi. Miss O'Hara is to shortly give a concert before proceeding to Paris.
Marriage: Linda O'Hara married George Carlisle Dailey on 22 September 1917 at the parish church of Marylebone, Middlesex, England.[1]
Death: 4 July 1944 King Edward's Hospital, Windsor, Berkshire, England. National Probate Calendar has: Aida Linda Dailey of Newlands Browne End Buckinghamshire, admin to Josephine Mary Gilbert, wife of Maurice Lestocq Gilbert. (Josephine Mary was her daughter)[2]
