Lemuel was born 21d 10m 1749 [21 Dec 1749].^[1] He was the son of Barnabas and Bethiah Mosher of Dartmouth.^[2]

He married Ruth Gifford, daughter of Peleg and Alice Gifford of Dartmouth, on 25d 10m 1770.^[2]
