Mark Moyle emigrated from England and settled in the USA, most likely in the late 1830s.

On 6 June 1841 the Moyle and Jewell family lived in Todpool, Kenwyn, Cornwall, England. Elizabeth Moyle (35) with children Elizabeth Moyle (11), Matthew Moyle (9) & Catharine Moyle (6) with Thomas Jewell (15) Copper Miner, Isaac Jewell (15) Copper Miner, James Jewell (10) Copper Miner & John Jewell (10) Copper Miner. ^[5] Also living in Todpool were Samuel Moyle's wife Joanna and their children.

Possibly his 1st wife Elizabeth along with children Elizabeth, Matthew & Catherine emigrated from England to re-join Mark in the early 1840s. She may have passed away in the UK and the children emigrated with their aunt Joanna and her children.
