Carl Ludwig MULLER was born in 1826. He was the son of Georg Muller and Elina Christoph.
It appears Carl may have emigrated to Australia along with his elder sister Catharina and her husband Martin Quintel on the barque 'Peru' arriving in Sydney in 23 May 1855.
Later known as Charles MULLER, from 1862 to 1891 he fathered 15 children with his sister's daughter Amelia (later known as Emilie) QUINTEL - they were registered variously under the surname QUINTEL and MULLER.
A farmer, he died in 1897 from mitral aortic disease, dropsy and cardiac syncope and was buried in the Minden Lutheran Cemetery.
