Clara was born in 1913 to Victor Muller and Melanie Charriere.
She attended school in Notre Dame de Lourdes for 8 years, then stayed home to help her parents on the farm. She married Emile Paulhus on October 11, 1934 and made their home in Notre Dame, together raising three children: Evelyn (Paulhus) VanDeynze, Gerard and Andre.
Clara worked at the Foyer for 17 years in the Laundry Dept. In 1994, she moved to Notre Dame Manor where she made this her home for 10 years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends as well as with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading. She also was a volunteer at the Foyer for many years, helping with Bingo and cards. Clara was a member of Les Dames de St. Anne, Le Club D'Age d'Or, and the Notre Dame Ladies Hospital Auxiliary where she knit many baby bonnets. In 2004 she moved to the Foyer where she continued playing cards and making new friends.
She passed away on June 19, 2005 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba.
