Biography

Marie Charlotte Mulouin

No baptism found for her, her parents are found on 1681 census in the seigneurie of Lachenaye,[1] owned by Charles de Villiers,[2] sieur de Tilly. Her sister Jeanne's baptism in 1682 lists the residence as Tilly de cette paroisse (Repentigny parish) .[3] She is mostly listed only as Marie on records for her marriage, with some instances of her being named Marie Charlotte or Charlotte also.

A request for tutors for the minor children of Marguerite Forget in 1705 gives her the age of around 19.

Le demande de tutelle pour les enfants mineurs de Jean Muloin et Marguerite Forget faite en 1705 nous apprend l'âge des 2 enfants mineurs du mariage, Jacques est dit avoir 21 ans (né c 1684) et Marie environ 19 (née c 1686).[4] Tutelle des enfants mineurs de feu Marguerite Forget et feu Jean Muloin, son premier époux, et de Jean Berloin [Jean Berlouin] Nantel, son second époux . - 9 janvier 1705[5]

Marriage
Marie Meuloin married Joseph Vaillancour on 2 may 1707 in St-François-de-Sales, Île Jésus.[6]

11 known children to the marriage, of which 3 known to die young and 8 to marry.[7]

Death
Marie Mulouin, wife of Joseph Veillancour, died on 28 sept 1739 in the evening and was buried on the 30th in Lachenaie, the record giving her around 50 years of age.[8]
