Biography

Cornelius Mulvihill was born about August 1854 in New York State. He is the son of John Mulvihill and Bridget Kennelly from Ireland.

1860 US Census New York Washington Cambridge Page 118 Lines 30-35: Cornelius Mulville (Mulvihill), 6 with his parents and three siblings. ^[2]Census Date: July 25, 1860.

1865 New York State Census Washington Cambridge Page 29 Lines 5-15: Cornelius Mulvihill, 11 with his parents and five siblings. ^[3] Census Date: June 20, 1865.

Cornelius Mulvihill married Justine Laboissiere in New York State about 1879. While the marriage record has not been found, this is known from census records. She is the fifth child of ten and the second of three daughters of Joseph Labossiere and Caroline Cadieux. They are known to have had eight children from the 1900 and 1910 US census records, but tragically, six died before 1900.

Cornelius Mulvihill died at Cohoes, NY on Nov. 28, 1916. ^[11] and he was buried there in Saint Agnes Cemetery. ^[12] He was 62 years old.
