Biography

David was born 20 Jul 1855 in Dresden, Muskingum County, Ohio, his parents are John Murdock and Elmira Root.

The 1900 Census indicated that David was 41 and living in Cairo Ward 5, Alexander, Illinois at 2010 Comercial Avenue in a rented home. Lived there with his wife of 11 years and five children. Was working as a Cooper but not for last 2 months^[1].

The 1910 Census indicated that David was 51 and living in Richland, Stoddard, Missouri with his wife of 21 years and five children. He was working as a Janitor in a Stove Factory but was out of work for last 10 weeks^[2].

The 1920 Census indicated that David was 62 and living in a rented home located on Cotton Belt Rail Road in Fair Oaks, Cross, Arkansas with his wife and three sons. Was working as a Janitor in a Stave Mill^[3]

At time of death was living .75miles southof Lapeer road on Genter Road and working as an elevator operator for Fisher Body Company.

Died 7 Feb 1928 in Burton, Genesee County, Michigan. and buried in Glenwood Cemetery located in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan^[4]. The Cause of Death is listed as an Cercbral Hemorhage with Asthma as a Contrib factor.
