Not sure the Daniel/Eleanor is right:
John & Sarah McGilvary, Alexander & Mary McGilvary, Murdock & Christian McLeod & Daniel & Eleanor Smith all emigrated to America on the same ship ca 1803/04. On the Isle of Skye, Sarah's surname was probably spelled the traditional way as Buchannon.
I found this information in the book.MacGillivray's of Skye.
