Sarah (Murray) Hyslop was born in New Brunswick.

Sarah Murray, daughter of David Murray by wife, Janet M (Tait) Murray, was born November 1841.

In the 1851 Census of Canada East, Canada West, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia David Murray 34 born abt 1817 in Scotland, Entering the Colony Date: Jun 1817, carriage maker, was head of his household in Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada. Other Household Members were Jennet Murray 39, Benjamin Murray 18, William Murray 16, James Murray 13, Robert Murray 11, Sarah Murray 9, Jennet Murray 6, Araminta Murray 4, Adam Murray 2, and Andrew Murray 3. ^[1]

In the 1861 Census of Canada David Murry 47 born 1814 England, wheelwright, was head of his household in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick. Presbyterian. Other Household Members were Jennet Murry 57 Wife, William Murry 26 Son, James M Murry 23 Son, Sarah A Murry 20 Daughter, Jennet Murry 17 Daughter, Araminta Murry 15 Daughter, Adam Murry 12 Son, David C Murry 9 Son, and Agnies Murry 5 Daughter. ^[2]

She and Robert Chapman Hyslop were married in 1864 in New Brunswick and had the following children.

Laura, married Ephraim Corey Jones; had issue
Samuel Douglas, married (1) unknown; (2) Mary Matilda Smith (widow) ^[3]
Alma Theodosia, married Eddie Nute Chisholm; had issue

Sarah died 18 October 1915 in McKees Mills, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada and was buried locally in the Woodlawn Cemetery. ^[4]
