George owned The George Hotel in Sydney. He also traveled to Africa and worked on building railway. His family did not go with him. He returned a few months before his death.

Sandie Mustchin
George married Ann and they moved to Walsall, Staffordshire where they had four children. One child Sydney James died in Walsall. George then moved to Rangiora, New Zealand and bought a property there. He sent for Ann and the three children. After eight years and three more children George went to Sydney, Australia where he bought The George Hotel in Waterloo. George sent for Ann and their 6 children. They lived in Sydney for 8 years, having another three children, with George reverting to his builder trade. George then travelled to Africa where he helped to build the railway system. Ann refused to move her 9 children to Africa and instead moved the entire family including children in law's back to New Zealand. George returned to his family in 1898. He was sick on arrival. George died three short months later.
