Biography

Jon was born on 15 Jul 1763 at Asgunnemåla, Linneryd to Måns Johansson and Brita Månsdotter.[1]


On 6 Aug 1786, Jon married Elin Jonasdotter (1766-1823) from Kåramåla Måla.[2] After the marriage they continued to live at Kåramåla Måla.[3]

Their first child Beata was born in 1788.[4][3] Other children were Magnus (1790 - ), Johan Magnus (10 Sep 1793 - 13 Apr 1800)[5], Olaus (26 Jan 1796 - 21 May 1800)[6][5][7], and Maria (16 Jan 1803 - ).[5]

Jon died on 20 Feb 1811 from a chest fever.[8][9]
