Marie Laetar Laure Nabonne was born on 15 March 1874 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1] She appeared on the census of 8 June 1880 in the household of her parents, Norbert Nabonne and Maire Adanis (Mediamolle) Nabonne, at Third Street, Morgan City, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.[2]
She married Joseph Ernest Pelletier, son of Ursin Pelletier and Clara (Prade) Pelletier, on 30 Dec. 1895 the marriage was recorded at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[1]
She and Joseph Ernest appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[3] She and Joseph Ernest appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Patterson, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.[4] She and Joseph Ernest appeared on the census of 17 Feb. 1920 at Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[5] Joseph died in 1921. She was a seamstress doing tailoring when she appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 in the household of her son-in-law, Nicholas A. Garderé and Maria Laure (Pelletier) Garderé, at 2417 Gov. Nicholls, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.[6] She appeared on the census of 11 April 1940 in the household of Nicholas and Maria Laure at 958 35th St., Oakland, Alameda Co., California.[7] She lived in 1942 at 3303 Market, Oakland, Alameda Co., California.[8] She was a seamstress in 1944 at Oakland, Alameda Co., California. She lived on 7 Nov. 1944 at 3303 Market St., Oakland, Alameda Co., California.[9]
She married Edward Fejus Thelaird, son of Simon Taylor and Honorine (Boutte) Taylor, on 8 July 1951 at Alameda Co., California.[10]
Marie died on 7 Jan. 1968 at Oakland, Alameda Co., California,[11] at age 93 and was buried at Saint Josephs Cemetery, Fremont, Alameda County, California.[12]

Friends are invited to attend services at the Telegraph Avenue Chapel of Grant Miller Mortuaries, 2850 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, Wednesday, January 10, at 8:15 a.m.; thence to St. Andrews - St. Joseph's Church, San Pablo and Brockhurst Street where a Requiem Mass will be celebrate for the repose of her soul, commencing at 9 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary, Tuesday, at 8:10 p.m. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery.
