When Cora Theodocia NANCE was born on December 3, 1877, in Tippah, Mississippi, her father, James, was 44, and her mother, Buena, was 28. She married Allen Taylor SIMS in 1892. She died on November 21, 1957, in Childress, Texas, at the age of 79, and was buried in Jackson, Tennessee.
