Ruth was born 27 Sep 1899 in Antlers, Pushmataha District, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory^[2]. She was the daughter of Henry Nash and Elizabeth Griggs. She passed away in 1991. ^[3]

Decision of the Commission in the matter of Lizzie Nash and her three minor children Ester, Ruth and Mary Nash, as citizens by blood of the Chickasaw Nation. ^[4]
