Ida Lee Lewis died on 15 January 1949 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas[6][7]. She was laid to rest on 17 January 1949 at Goshen Cemetery in Eustace, Henderson County, Texas[8].
