In the 1900 census Mary M Shively (age 45) was the wife of David Shively in McCune, Crawford, Kansas.^[5]

In the 1910 census Mary Shively (age 55) was the widowed head of household in Osage, Crawford, Kansas.^[6]

Mary Margaret Shively died on 17 December 1912 and was buried in McCune Cemetery, McCune, Crawford County, Kansas.^[7]
