Biography
Johannes Neisler II performed Patriotic Service in the American Revolution.
Johannes Neisler II is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A083843.
Johanne was born in 1740 in Wannweil. He was the son of Johannes Neuschler and Anna Steinmeyer.[1] He passed away in 1815.
John Neisler opposed slavery. Expressed a vigourous disagreement with his father on the question of slavery. He contended the family had left Germany in search of freedom, and he was determined not to hold slaves. Leaving home and starting out alone, he eventually became a large plantation owner in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
