Biography

In 1910, William (age 82) was widowed and living in his son James' household in La Grange, Oldham, Kentucky. Also in the household was his brother Abe Netherton (age 77). ^[1]

William died on 5 Dec. 1911 in La Grange, Oldham, Kentucky. Cause of death was amebic dysentery, which he had for three months. Contributory cause was old age. He was eighty four years old. The parents listed on his death certificate were John Netherton and Bertha Wells. Both parents were born in Kentucky. William's birthplace was also Kentucky. ^[2]
