In 1881 Mary was recorded as a 22 year old wife in the household of her 28 year old warehouseman, husband William Luckhurst, at Hedgers Grove, Hackney, London,Middlesex, England. The couples two (2) young sons, William 2 and Frederick under 1 were also recorded in the household as was a 23 year old, sugar boiler, boarder John Elsbury.[3]
