Biography
Mary Elizabeth (Newman) Arledge was born on June 1, 1864 in North Carolina to William Newman and Nacissus Jane (Lankford) Newman. She died on January 16, 1948, at the age of 83. At the time she was living in the White Oak Township at Star Rt. Salud, Polk County, North Carolina. She was buried on January 18, 1948, at Silver Creek Cemetery, Mill Springs, North Carolina. [1]
