Biography

Elizabeth first married James Bates in WInchendon, Massachusetts in 1778. [1][2]

Her second husband was Dr. Ebenezer Wright. [citation needed]

Elizabeth's third husband was Phillips Sweetser whom she married in 1830. [3]

The History of the town of Marlborough has the following information:

Phillips Sweetser, Esq., a younger brother of Joseph, born in Leominster, Massachusetts, Apr 27, 1760. Married May 29, 1785, Persis Joslin of WInchendon, Massachusetts. His wife died Jan 7 1824 and he married second Mrs. Betsey Wright, formerly of Fitzwilliam.[4]

She died in 1846 and is buried in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. The FInd A Grave record has the following unsourced information:

Married 1st James Bates.
Married 2nd Dr Ebenezer Wright.
Married 3rd Phillip Sweetser. [5]
