Captain Silas NICHOLS was born calculated 1770. He died 18 May 1811 and was buried in Derby Colonial Cemetery, Derby, New Haven, CT. Silas married Freelove.
Sea Captain, who died when my (Lucy) father(Charles) was 13 yrs old, leaving his wife and 3 young sons, and little or no money.
He predeceased his father, who mentions him in his Will, proved Mar. 25, 1819, "heirs of Silas, dec'd."
