John Williams was born on October 29, 1845 in New South Wales, Australia[1], the son of James Williams and Eliza Nichols.

He was the brother of Ann Matilda Williams, Jane Eliza (Williams) Latimer, Emma (Williams) Nunn, James Williams, Clara Williams, Lydia Williams and Ruth (Williams) Duncan.

John died at 22 months old on September 12, 1847 in New South Wales Australia[2].
