Biography

Samuel Osman Nichols who went by Osman, was born on February 20, 1845 in Searsport, Waldo, Maine.^[1] He was the son of Samuel Cunningham Nichols and Sarah R Sleeper.

Samuel 'Osman' Nichols at age 5, was living in Searsport, Waldo, Maine with his inferred Mother, "Sarah R Nichols" and siblings.^[2]

At age 25 (1870) he was Mariner in Searsport, Waldo, Maine.^[3]

In 1880 Osman (age about 35) was a Sea Captain, in Searsport, Waldo Maine while living in the home of Stephan Dyer, his Wife, Mary's parent's.^[4]
