Biography

Susanna was born in 1794. She was the daughter of William Nightingale and Susannah Clark. She passed away in 1844. She never married.

"Their two daughters, Sally and Susan, are buried in the West Orvis Street Cemetery. These two sisters had strong minds, and opinions so often at variance with those of the rest of the family, that finally their father built a small house on the bank of the Racket River a few rods west of what is now called the spring property, and told them they must live in it by themselves"
