Alzinah was born in 1851 in Mariposa, to Hezekiah Noble and Julia Ann Moore. ^{[1] [2]}

She married David Culbert in December 1870 at Little Britain. ^[3]

Alzinah and David settled in Mariposa Township where they farmed and raised four children. ^{[4] [5] [6] [7] [1] [8] [9]}

Alzinah died in July 1926 and is buried at the Little Britain Bible Christian Cemetery with her husband David (d.1923). ^{[10] [11]}

Alzinah's grandparents came to Upper Canada from Herkimer, NY about 1800 and settled at Markham... probably joining the German settlement there. During the 1837 rebellion her grandfather Thomas Smith Noble (1800-1840) refused to enlist and his land was confiscated. Alzinah's father Hezekiah, and his brother Daniel, came north to Lindsay about 1840. Hezekiah married Julia Ann Moore in about 1848 and they settled in Mariposa. Alzinah's grandfather and granduncle have a family profile in the Little Britain Centennial booklet, page 40:

HEZEKIAH and DANIEL NOBLE were among the early settlers of the district. They had farms on Con. 7 where reside a son of Hezekiah, Abram, and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Dunn and Mrs. Thomas Reazin, loyal supporters of the Christian Church. ^[12]

Alzinah's family is documented in the book 'History and genealogy of the family of Thomas Noble, of Westfied, Massachusetts.' ^[13]

The Noble family name is mentioned in several places in the Little Britain Centennial booklet.
