Jim Nolan
Biography
Jim is the oldest of three children of Henry and Mary Aylward Nolan.[1][2]
Jim "won the local “Voice of Democracy” speech contest, according to Al Leighton, regional chairman. Runners-up were Nancy Jo Templeton, Barbara Bossus, Mary Ribbel and Kathy Peterson. Nolan won a radio."[3] He was a graduate of Brainerd High School and the Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, he owned two chiropractic clinics in Los Angeles for a number of years. He also owned and operated Sherwood Forest Lodge in Spirit Lake, Minnesota. His business partner and companion was Gerald Tharaldson, who preceded him in death.
He died at age 61 in Los Angeles.[4][5][6] He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd, Minnesota.[7]
