Jessie owned and operated a popcorn wagon. He Also had a concession stand at the Baseball/Football complex in Monroe, Iowa.
Funeral services for Clarence Jessie Noon, 70, of Monroe, a longtime resident of Jasper County, were held Saturday at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Elder Arthur Nichols of the Monroe Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints conducted the services. Burial was in Monroe Silent City Cemetery. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Van Haalen of Des Moines, Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Jack of Fort Madison and Mrs. Ralph (Catherine) McDaniel of Hood River, Ore.; and two brothers, Dale of Prairie City and Carl of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glen. The son of Albert and Kate Rexroat Noon, he was born July 14, 1902 at Highpoint. Mr. Noon died Wednesday evening at the Collins Memorial Hospital in Knoxville.
