Biography
Alfred was born in about 1875 in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. He was the son of John Northcott and Ann (Marles) Northcott.[1]
In the 1881 census Alfred (age about 5) was living in Bridford, Devon, England.[2]
Research notes
There is at least one other George Alfred Northcott of a similar age living in the same area so care is needed in evaluating sources, the other one was born in Devonport.
