Mabel's birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1902 in the Stokesley district.^[1] Mabel, daughter of Fred & Jane Elizabeth, was born in 1902 and baptised on 8 March 1902 in Yorkshire (North Riding), England.^[2]

In the 1911 census Mabel (age 9) was the daughter of Frederick Northgrave in The Stable Rounton Grange Northallerton, East Rounton, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (North Riding), England.^[3]

Mabel studied at Leeds University and obtained her BA in English in 1923 and her Diploma in Education in 1924. ^[4]

Mabel's marriage to John W. Tibble was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1927 in the Pancras district.^[5]

In the 1939 register Mabel (age 37), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married at 32 Victoria Road, Topsham, St Thomas R.D., Devon, England.^[6]

Mabel's death (age 77) was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1980 in the Northampton district.^[7] Mabel, of Clare Cottage, Guilsborough, Northamptonshire, died on 31 August 1980 and her estate passed probate on 25 September 1980 in Nottingham.^[8]
