Biography
William Henry Northrope was born in 1883 in Bruthen, Victoria (Australia). He was the fourth son of Harry Northrop and Elizabeth Beames, and grandson of English emigrants Thomas and Mary Ann Northrop. [1] His father, changed the spelling of the family name before William's birth. The family soon after moved south to Swan Reach, before settling in Cunninghame, to the east of Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
William married Maud Rapley in 1913 in Victoria. [2]
He passed away in 1951 in Fitzroy, Victoria. [3]
