Biography

Dorota (Novák) Jakšová has Czech Roots.

Dorota Nováková was born likely in Dynín or in Bošilec about 1640, first information about her in seigniorial registers were in 1661[1]. She was the daughter of Martin Novak and his wife Kateřina - rustics in Bošilec in Novak's farm[2] from 1650. She had siblings:

  • Mandolína (*1641),
  • Marie (*1647),
  • Vaclav (*1650)
  • Šimon (*1654).

Her mother Kateřina died in 1674[3].
Her father Martin Novak married second time Kateřina (widow after Martin Frejlach from Dynín) in 1676-5-22[4] and they continued in Novak's farm. He Martin Novák died in 1688[5].

She Dorota Nováková married Jiří (son of Marek Maruška and his wife Anna - rustics in Bošilec in Maruška's farm[6]) about 1660[7] and they started up as farmers in Remeš's farm[8][9] (they took name Remeš). They moved to Freylach's farm in Dynín about 1664[10][11]. They moved back in Maruška's farm in Bošilec (likely to his stepfather) in 1667[12] (the opposite record in Bošilec failed - it may be mistake of the writer). Next records about him appears in 1673 in Bošilec[13] - they likely changed his stepfather in the Maruška's farm. They moved in Jakeš's farm[14] (in Bošilec too) about 1677[15] and they took name Jakeš. They lived there, for example in 1678[16] or in 1690[17]. They had children:

  • Alžběta (*1661 - she married Martin Kotlaba from Bošilec in 1677, they continued in Bošilec in Kotlaba's farm and they had children: ..., Marie, ...),
  • Marie (*1663),
  • Vaclav (*1665-8-29[18] - he married Marie Matesová from Záblatí about 1690, they lived in Sedlíkovice in Janoušek's farm and they had children: ..., Eva.),
  • Jiří (*1670 - he married Justýna Wosiková from Bošilec in 1693, they moved to Sviny in Pokuta's farm about 1698, they took name Pokuta and they had children: ..., Tomáš, ...),
  • Anna (*1672),
  • Kateřina (*1674),
  • Marie (*1676),
  • Martin (*1677 - he continued in the Jakeš's farm as farmer),
  • Pavel (*1680).

Her husband Jiří Maruška-Remeš-Jakšů died in 1693[19].
She (widow Dorota Jakšů born Nováková in Bošilec) farmed with their sons Martin and Pavel, for example in 1697[20]. She died in 1710[21].
