Biography

Eliza P. Noyes was a daughter of Eunice W. (Denison) & Thomas Noyes of Stonington, Connecticut.

Note: The birth date of this Eliza P. Noyes was published in the first printing of Wheeler's History of Stonington (1900) as May 7, 1839, but the birth year was corrected to 1834 in the second printing with the special 4 page corrections & additions section [[1]] succeeding the preface (uncorrected in the Google online version). The 1839 birth year also appears in the Denison Genealogy (1963). Whereas either date is plausible viz. the birth dates of her siblings, this datum point should be considered uncertain until a more probitive reference may be found.

She married 26 Nov 1857 Seth Noyes Williams.

Eliza P. (Noyes) Williams passed away 1 Feb 1870.
