James Noyes was a son of Edward Denison Noyes and Sarah (Avery) Noyes (1781-1856).
He married 24 Dec 1837 Eliza Denison. They had 2 children:
- Mary D. Denison, b. Sep 1838; d. 24 Oct 1867
- John James Denison, b. & d. 1840
James Noyes died 27 Oct 1843.
