Dollie Mae O'Donnell born on the 23rd of April 1870 in Indiana was the daughter of John O'Donnell 1844-1915 and Alice Mae SHANE O'Donnell 1854-1911. Dollie was the firstborn of seven children born to Alice and John O'Donnell of Decatur County, Indiana.

Being Irish, Dollie had a "hot" temper and when Scott made her really mad she would throw a pinch of cayenne powder on the big oil stove in their home and would put him in a coughing spell until he had to go outside for fresh air. Scott must have suffered from asthma, as he had a breathing problem.

Dollie Mae O'Donnell Brown is buried next to her husband at Memorial Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana on the N.E. quarter Lot 470, Section 12 having a large shared stone. There is a huge tree landmark next to the graves and is very close to the road. A lot of family members are located in that vicinity.
