Biography
Mary was born in 1863 and died in 1946 after being the mother of 11 children, four who died in infancy and several who died in their youth, including Lt. Ralph Talbot who gave his life for his country in World War One and received a Medal of Honor for his heroism. She was the wife of Richard James Talbot, a loving husband and father who worked as a carpenter. I always wish we knew more about the day-to-day lives of families like this, but with the above facts, we can assume that this couple's life was a challenge.
