Helen (O'Donnell) Hunter is buried in Guilford Union Cemetery, Winnebago County, Illinois.

Mrs. Hunter Dies: Rites Wednesday

Mrs. Helen Hunter, 67, wife of David Hunter, Jr., veteran Rockford State Representative, died Sunday morning at her farm home on Spring Creek Road.

Hunter, a Republican, retired from politics in 1960 after serving 19 consecutive terms in the Illinois State House of Representatives.

A member of the American Legion Auxilary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxilary, Mrs. Hunter had lived all her life in Rockford. ^[5]
