Patrick "Paddy Rua" O'Donnell was born 22 Feb 1864 in Leabranagh on Arranmore Island, County Donegal, Ireland. He was the son of John O'Donnell,[1] one of the Eamons and Mickie Charlies.
Patrick was a fisherman[1] and a farmer.
He married Bridget "Biddy Manus" O'Donnell[1] on 26 Feb 1895 at St. Crone's, the Catholic Chapel on Arranmore Island.[1]
They lived at Leabrannagh (see 1901 census in sources).
