Shirley Joan O'Leary was born on October 29, 1938, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of George Fisher O'Leary and Myrtle Hayward, her father, George, was 58, and her mother, Myrtle, was 45. She had seven brothers and seven sisters. She died on April 30, 2013, in her hometown at the age of 74, and was buried in York, New Brunswick, Canada.
FOSTER, SHIRLEY J. - It is with very sad hearts that the family of Shirley Joan Foster announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the age of 74. Born in Fredericton on October 29, 1938, she was the youngest daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Hayward) O'Leary. Shirley was Anglican by faith and was an avid Nascar fan. Shirley leaves behind two much loved and cherished children, Billy Foster of Geary and Jodie Foster (Joseph Brenton) of Fredericton. Shirley will be greatly missed and forever loved by her pride and joy, her granddaughter, Jaden. Shirley also leaves behind her brother, Albert O'Leary (Shirley) of Fredericton; and her sister, Myrtle Good of Geary; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
