Charles Fletcher O'Leary was born on November 15, 1908, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, his father, John, was 45 and his mother, Martha, was 32. He married Catherine Frederica Armstrong on October 25, 1944, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. They had one child during their marriage. He died on May 26, 1989, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 80, and was buried in Saint John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Beaver Dam, York County, New Brunswick, Canada.
