Arthur became a member of the The Royal Society of Musicians of Great Britain on the 4 August 1861 as confirmed in the Society's book, “Members of The Royal Society of Musicians 1738-1984” on Page 108

Arthur died March 11, 1919 at St John's Wood Park, St John's Wood, Middlesex, aged 84. [9] His Will was probated May 7, 1919 in Middlesex. His estate was valued at £15,713 and was left to his daughter, Catherine Wyndham O'Leary. [10]
