Leonidas Polk Oakley was born on March 5, 1862 in Morgan County, Kentucky, United States, son of Richard Menifee Oakley (1812–1863) and Belinda Lewis (1826–1899).[1]
Lee died on December 31, 1927 in Blaze, Morgan, Kentucky, aged 65. He was buried in Hughes Cemetery, Zag, Morgan County, Kentucky.[2] [1]
