Biography

Jacob was born in 1767, in Pennsylvania, to John and Ursula Ziegler Oberholtzer. He married Catherine Allebach in 1793, in Pennsylvania. They had nine children. He died in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1836, at the age of 69. He is buried in the Mennonite Church Cemetery in Vincent Township, Chester, Pennsylvania.
