Biography
All my ancestors except my parents were farmers. Even though my parents were never farmers, they were both born on farms. My parents both came to California as children leaving bankrupt farms in the 1920's and 1930's. They met in Compton California and were married there. They raised their 4 children in Compton.
Graduated in 1967 from Dominguez High School, Compton, California.
Graduated in 1970 from Compton College, with AA degree.
Graduated in 1978 from California State University, Long Beach with BA degree.
Worked at the California State University, Long Beach Library from Dec. 1977 until retiring in Dec. 2012
Thomas Odell is a descendant of Mayflower Passenger Henry Samson.
