Biography
Mehitable, daughter of Joshua and Mehitable (Gorham) Oldham, was born in Scituate, MA and baptized December 1, 1717. She married Job Nichols in Scituate, MA on May 21, 1741. Job, son of Joseph and Bathsheba (Pinsen) Nichols, was born in Scituate, MA on May 2, 1716 and died in Pembroke, MA on August 24, 1778 at age 63,
It appears Mehitable moved to Chesterfield, MA after the death of husband to live with or near her son Joseph as she was admitted to the church there in 1793.
