Biography
Frederick was born in 1877. He is the first son of Henry Oltmanns and Catherine Lotz. His other two brothers, William and Henry, by his same mother Kate (who died of consumption in 1880) were stillborn in 1878 and 1879 respectively. Why he relocated to Erie County is unknown. His profession seemed to remain a laborer through out his life. He passed away in 1953. He is buried in Scotts Cemetery, Huron, Erie Co., Ohio. [1]
