Biography

Thomas Orgill was born around 1833 in Derbyshire, England, the son of Elizabeth Orgill and Matthew Orgill.[citation needed]

At the time of the 1841 England Census, he was living with his family in Shed Houses in Measham, Derbyshire.[1]

Thomas emigrated to Victoria, Australia four years before his brothers Henry and William, on the "Royal Charter" in 1857.[2]

He married Emily Alder in 1865 in Victoria, Australia.[3] Their children were:[citation needed]

Emily died in 1888.[4]

Thomas died on 26 June 1908 at George Street, Dandenong, Victoria.[5][6] His remains were buried on 28 June 1908 in Dandenong.[citation needed]
