She married George Henry Boocock (1880-). Their marriage was registered in 1906 in Chorlton, Lancashire.^[4]

The couple had a son George in 1908.

In 1911 Edith was living in Gorton with her husband, son and sister, Mary. Her husband was a coach painter. ^[5]
